Highlights - Yankees: 
Yanks beat a shorthanded Bulls squad to head to the finals. Pitchers scatter 5 hits and tally 13 k's. Yankee hitters collect 12 hits but have 14 LOB. Very nice run in the tourn. Bulls.
Bulls: 
Bulls tourney run ends in 3rd place. Nice finish after disappointing regular season. We put up a good fight tonight, trailing only 3-2 after 7 despite having 8 guys for most of the game and 1 available pitcher. Manley 3-3. Hall struck out everybody else.

Yanks win protest. The comments by the Astros dont surprise us. All we ask is for teams to respect the game of baseball. We have no place for coaches in this league that have to cheat to win. Astros we hope you're back next year for some fair competition.

Astros win 7-0. Beiser,Demler hold Yanks to 4 hits on 8 K's.Sherrard 3-4,Dave 2-3,Chris 2B.Nice work Columbo. Nice finish! A 7-0 spanking is a good way to end the season!

This one went back and forth for the first 5. The Sting broke a 4-4 tie with 4 in the 6th and pulled away with 2 more in the 7th and 8th. Hermesch 2-4, 3RBI; Hamburg, Babcock 2 hits apiece.

Yankees earn hard fought win taking a 4-0 lead into the 8th and holding on for a 4-2 win to advance to the final 4. Total team effort to hold Deerfield's hot hitters in check. Congrats on a great season Deerfield, nice to have you back in the league
Deerfield: 
3 unearned runs and our season comes to an end. Thanks to all 10 of my guys on this years roster. We got it done most Sunday's with only nine or ten guys and had a great time all year!! Fun year guys, playing the greatest game in the world!!

Cubs: 
Astros hit the ball hard and often, as opposed to Cubs weak and rarely. That's it for us. Good luck with rest of the tournament. Another year to stay young playing a game we love. Thanks to everyone who contributes to make this possible.

Royals let another late lead slip away by allowing a couple of unearned runs to be the difference. Witte and Bess deserved a better fate today. Great season overall with 20 wins! Hause 2-3,2B,RBI; Shoe 2-4,R; Wachtel 2-4,R; Marty 2B.
Yankees: 
Yank's depth comes through big time. No Rendle, No Cutter, No Younger, No Thomas, No Pearson, No Rack, No Abney, No Problem. Hall strong outing and Menke's clutch double scores the go ahead run to steal one from a good Royals team. Great season Royals!

Bulls 3-2 in 11. Babcock/Beyer in a great pitcher's duel, CG for both. Kenny was mowing 'em down - retiring the last 14 in order. Bulls score the winner in the 11th, benefiting from a couple DF miscues. Buschor 3-5; Mount,Manley,Lawrie-2 hits.
Deerfield: 
Marty and Babcock go at it for 11 innings. A miscue in the 6th allows the tying run to score and the Bulls scratch out the winner in the 11th. Solid "D" wins games and the Bulls played the better defense in this one.

Great game again by both teams and pitchers. Sting jumps ahead early and hangs on to win. Great CG effort by Flynt (11 Ks) against a good team in the heat. Offense led by Burke (2-4, RBI), Pitzer (2-5, 2R), Love (3-5, 2R, 4RBI), and Arnold (2-5, RBI).
Astros: 
Makeup from 5/18. Astros fall behind 3-0 and can't find way back against tough Sting pitcher as he tallies 11 k's. Astros look to regroup for playoffs after 3 straight losses. Meranus,Muir 2 hits,Paulie 2B.
