It's a shame someone had to lose this classic. Great game and great season. Back to back 20 win seasons for the Royals.

Rough 24 hours has us going from the finals of the winners bracket to packing our gear. Great season none-the-less as we continued to build a competitive team. Hats off to David Pearson and Jared Cutter for carrying the pitching load!

Season ends with the mystery of the Suds disappearing bats unsolved. After 13 games Suds 8-5, remaining 16 we go 2-14. Jekyll/Hyde season still a good one.

Highlights - Dragons: 
The game that wouldn't end finally ended and not in the Dragons favor. It took 3 different days to finish and it came down to 12 innings, a bloop hit and an error to clinch it.
Deerfield: 
Marty ends the top of 11th getting a K with the sacks full and we win it in the bottom of the 12th on a game winning hit by Shannon Morgan. Offense lead by Frank Arnold with 3 hits and Morgan and Scott Bitzer with two hits each.

Very tight game for four innings until we finally get to tough Rangers pitching. Edwards times his appearance brilliantly and gets the win. Tom Taylor (2-2, 2R, RBI) and Farrell and Burke (2R each) spark the offense. Great team win.

Rangers take advantage of Suds miscues to eek out a win. Bit of pricey game as there were about 5 broken bats. Kevin Schaeffer hot on the mound with 13 k's.

Despite only 3 hits and 10Ks, Bulls came close to stealing this one. Can't plate the tying run with bases loaded, 1-out in the 7th. A couple early pick-offs really hurt. Schaffer pitched well but gets his 3rd CG 2-1 loss of the year. Hilliard 2B.

Great outing by winning pitcher Will "Larry" Flynt, who goes 6 innings striking out 15. The bats come to life as well. Our offense is led by Farrell (2-3, 2B, 3R), Love (2-2, 2B, 3R, 2RBI), Stallworth (2-3, 2B, 2R, 2RBI), and Henn (2-3, 2B, 3RBI).
