The game that wouldn't end finally ended and not in the Dragons favor. It took 3 different days to finish and it came down to 12 innings, a bloop hit and an error to clinch it.

Deerfield:

Marty ends the top of 11th getting a K with the sacks full and we win it in the bottom of the 12th on a game winning hit by Shannon Morgan. Offense lead by Frank Arnold with 3 hits and Morgan and Scott Bitzer with two hits each.

Tedd pitched a heck of a game, scattering nine singles over 11 1/3. But all we could do with the bats was hit a dozen 2-hoppers back to the mound. Dupriest, Moore 2 hits apiece.

Deerfield:

Game goes 12 innings. Marty goes 9 giving up one run. Morgan pitches the last three to get the win and knocks in the game winner in the 12th. Offense lead by Morgan,3-6 and Frank Arnold, Mel Kattleman and Scott Bitzer with 2 hits each.

Yankees:

Well pitched game by both sides. Yankee pitchers combine for a no hitter and 15 K's. Yanks come from behind and scratch out the tying run in the 6th and the go ahead run in the 7th. Suds pitching tally's 18 k's in 8 innings.
